Two ways to sell your machine

What each package includes

• Listing, €59 excluding tax. 90 days online, up to 15 photographs and one video.
• Verified listing, €119 excluding tax. 120 days, up to 20 photographs and three videos, with a documentary check by Makinter and a verified badge on the page.
• Optional placement. Category feature, €49 for 30 days. Feature on the makinter.com homepage, €99 for 15 days. 90-day extension, €39.

Anything paid for in order to appear higher is labelled as paid placement, as European rules require. Which tax applies depends on the country you are buying from, and it is calculated before you confirm the order.

How it works, step by step

1. Tell us about the machine in your own words, as you would tell a customer, and the system fills in the sheet and asks you for whatever is missing. If you prefer full control, fill the sheet in field by field.
2. Upload the photographs and videos. Three photos minimum. The nameplate is worth ten of them: photograph it and the buyer knows exactly what they are looking at.
3. Answer the origin and documentation block. It is what a professional buyer needs in order to decide.
4. We review the listing, it goes live, and buyers' messages come straight to you.

What has to be declared, and why

Every listing declares where the machine came from, whether it carries CE marking and under which framework, whether the declaration of conformity and the manual exist, and whether it has been substantially modified.

A machine placed on the European market before 1995 needs no CE marking to be resold within the Union, and saying so takes nothing away from it. Whoever imports a machine from outside the Union answers for its conformity. Whoever substantially modifies a machine becomes its manufacturer for the purposes of safety legislation. Saying it up front stops the deal collapsing at the end, which is when it costs most.

Who can list

Any company or any individual, in any country in the world, who owns the machine or has express authorisation to sell it. The site runs in Spanish, English and French, and buyers come from Europe and international markets.

How much does it cost to list a machine?

The list price is €59 excluding tax per listing. During the launch promotion nothing is charged, and we will tell you before charging is switched on.

How long does the listing run?

Ninety days on the listing package and a hundred and twenty on the verified one. It can be extended by another ninety days.

Who receives the buyers' messages?

The seller, directly. Makinter does not step into the negotiation on third-party listings: it is a noticeboard, not a party to the sale.

Can I add videos?

Yes. One video on the listing package and up to three on the verified one. A video of the machine running is worth more than twenty photographs.

What if I would rather Makinter sold it?

Then the route is the sales mandate: we prepare the sheet, find the buyer and close. Listing costs you nothing and we only charge if it sells.
